Dear Mrs Lindsay,

I am writing to you because I think we should get the maths hub website because we really want to see what it can do and it looks so fun, I mean LEARNING fun. It helps our learning it is easy and clear and it saves time for the teacher.

It helps our learning because you can prove some evidence to your teacher. If we don’t get it we might not get to learn as much. Do you want to help us get better at things? If we get number hub it won’t just be for us but for the whole  school.

It can be easier for us because it’s clear and it is not confusing. Also it has activities that you can learn. It is faster to find a learning game instead of wasting your time trying to look for a game and link it so you don’t forget.

It saves time for the teacher because you can just write up counting to 1000 and it will come up But if we don’t get it then it will be hard for the teacher because they have to get all of the activities ready for us. Do you want to help all of the teachers?

Again I really think we should all get number hub so it can help our learning.
Thank you

  1. Hi Payton,
It’s Alexsi, I really like your persuasive piece that you have written to Mrs Lindsay. You have done a really great job persuading her and I’m sure that if I was her I would definitely allow it!!! I remember when Te Ngahere done some Persuasive writing about ‘Should Fidget Spinners be allowed at school or in the classroom.’
I hope Mrs Lindsay allows Maths Hub in Paihia School.

    Yours Truly
    Alexsi
