Waitangi Day

In Te Maunga we have been learning to write a recount because we need to learn how to write a recount any way i think i did a really good job on writing a lot of words in my writing but i think next time i should get my plan done before my writing.

Here is my cool recount

Waitangi Day

“Line up please!” said Whaea Becks so we quickly lined up quietly, she said “we are going to go to waitangi now” “That is right it is tuesday.” Said Tia We started to walk, all i heard was feet crunching on the stones, few minutes later…. We were still walking and   I felt like a dehydrated sun. We walked and walked and walked until we finally were in front of the  museum. A nice lady gave me a bright green sticker. We started to walk again, after that we went into groups.

We were the first group to do an awesome game. The game we did is a game to help you listen so if you are trying to listen to a bird to eat it you would have to listen very well to catch the bird bit anyway, You would get a paua shells and put these yellow blindfolds on. After that you would shake the paua shells and you have to find the other person. I was playing against Liam n . I was tagged Liam fist. After playing the game i was like a yellow sun.

After Doing the games, we went into the forest and we learnt about the different trees and what kind of trees can help you when you are sick. Also I learnt a lot about trees and what they can do to you to help you when you’re sick.

Next Thing we did was planting. “YAY”! We had to stand and listen to the lady about what we have to do and how you have to get out the plant and other stuff. We had to get into buddy’s and my buddy was nevaeh. We needed some help it was hard at first but then it got easy at the end. We wanted to do another one but we were not allowed. I was sad but still happy that i planted one.

We started to walk back to school, my legs got so sour i felt like a noodle. When we got back to school my tummy was rumbling so i ate my sandwich. “Today was so fun”. “Good bye Whaea Becks”.
